#20 — Programming and Web Development

10 things worth sharing each week.

Hi there,

This week, I read some essays for programming and web development.

  1. Last week I wrote about writing in HTML and typesetting in CSS. This week, my favorite iA writer app updates to include custom template.

  2. PHP School — Interesting way that use PHP composer plugin bundle to create a local command line learning environment.

  3. Making your javascript pure is a simple but important skills.

  4. Every year there is lots of new tutorials from WWDC. This WWDC 2016 viewing guide is a good starting point.

  5. Another must-read Typography handbook.

  6. I know this skill and often use it in shell. But most of my students just use GUI so they don’t even know the existence of the git patch. Here it is: Git’s Patch Mode.

  7. Every one talks about MVP these years when building product. But it’ really hard.

  8. Kotlin is a new language which I met it from the post ”How I fell in love with a programming language”.

  9. Don’t knock daydreamers, they could be onto something.

  10. So, allow your children to get bored.

Until next week,
