Hi there,
It’s been 2 weeks again since issue 27. I teach 5 different classes each week, along with my 9-to-5 day job. Meanwhile, I’m now writing my daily micro-updates on Makzan Live.
Here are the 10 things I read and find them worth sharing.
ARIA in HTML — Web accessibility is the human right that web developer can’t ignore it.
Start a little snowball. That really works. After you build something small and start using it yourself. You know where it should head to to grow.
Why Vue (not React) is the new jQuery. But it depends, jQuery’s beauty is the ability to manipulate the HTML after it is rendered. Vue, or React, define the HTML rendering at the beginning. That’s the difference.
Be productive anywhere. The key point I think is to really start the day early. And a large bottle of water — not coffee — really refreshes the body.
How to use code as your primary design tool shows many cool SVG animation effects.
Basecamp, my favorite project/life manager, is now getting a webhook and chatbot. Cool!
Salesforce Einstein will be a big thing. Although I’m against AI. At least we need to protect human from it.
Why silicon valley is all wrong about Apple’s AirPods. Anyway, I will buy one immediately when it releases for sale. Hoping it can auto switch the audio between my phone and Mac.
Switch your Apple Watch to a new iPhone. When every device is connected together. It is too troublesome to disconnect them.
Thanks for reading my sharing.
Until next week,
Thomas Mak
