#41 — Linea, Stand up desk, jsonbin

10 things worth sharing

Hi there,

Here are 10 things worth sharing this week.

  1. Teaching — It’s about Inspiration, Not Information. For me, I’ve been thinking how to teach better in my WorldSkills and web design class.

  2. Red Lemon Club is my latest inspirational source. Essays, illustrations, site structure, copy writings.

  3. Introducing Linea — It’s a very well-crafted iPad sketching app.

  4. Lessons learned from a stand up desk.

  5. What makes Rails a framework worth learning in 2017?

  6. I always taught my students that material design looks good but is bad to use. This post on material design and the mystery meat navigation shows the problems.

  7. Also, why usability is the most important aspect of designing a site.

  8. JSON store as a service: jsonbin

  9. While playing with the jsonbin service, I learnt the Preflighted request spec which send OPTIONS method as a pre-determine.

  10. Web app is now a first-class citizen in Andorid with the latest Add to Home Screenimprovement..

One more thing, I created the second episode of “One minute a week, learn web design a bit”.
